16th International Symposium on the Biology and Management of Coregonid Fishes – Call for Abstracts

The Organizing Committee of the 16th International Symposium on the Biology and Management of Coregonid Fishes invites participation in the upcoming symposium, held September 21-25, 2026 in Port Elgin Ontario Canada, hosted by the Saugeen Ojibway Nation. Abstract submissions for oral and poster presentations are welcome; six sessions are available for abstract submission and general submissions are also welcome. Details given below:

Abstract Guidelines
You will be asked to provide a title, pick a session, the abstract text, and a list of co-authors (if any). Please provide the names and affiliations of all co-authors and indicate which author will be presenting by checking the presenter box . Please do not use acronyms in the affiliations. Then enter the name of the person we should contact with questions or to confirm abstract acceptance.
Title: should summarize the topic, no more than 20 words
Body: The abstract should be in English and should be one paragraph of no less than 150 words and no more than 250 words describing the work and relevance to coregonines.

Abstract Submission Instructions
Abstracts must be submitted via the Abstract submission form on the conference website where you can learn more about your host, the meeting venue, and registration costs. You will be notified whether your abstract has been accepted starting in June. We will start to accept registrations in June, so please stay tuned for more information. By submitting an abstract, presenters confirm that they have the necessary rights and permissions to share the content publicly. This includes securing any required approvals from co-authors, employers, or affiliated institutions. Presenters are responsible for ensuring that their content complies with applicable intellectual property and privacy regulations.
